Because I Miss The Office And Love YouTube

Last night I was on one of my many forums and a conversation came up about John Krasinski's many faces. Anyway, this prompted me to go on youtube and search for a compilation video. Pretty exciting stuff for a John K fan.

Moving on. Here are the top ten Jim and Pam moments as seen by the creator. ( I think I would rearrange some but it's still great)

Finally, the top ten Jim and Dwight moments! (I'm sorry the one where Dwight crashes his car is torture for me to watch because I laugh hard every time)

The temp got the job and I got my Jam fix

I'm going to start off this entry with the scene from last nights OFFICE finale that I along with many other people had been waiting for.
The Jim/Pam storyline came full circle and I couldn't be happier. I was convinced that nothing was going to happen on that front and thank god I was wrong. It's very late and I should be in bed but I think I'm going to blog and watch CSI instead. So do you guys think that Jim left Karen stranded in NY? The evil girl in me really hopes so but I doubt it maybe he called her on the phone and was like "we are dunzo I'm asking Pam out"! Probably not but what we do know is that he didn't drive back to Scranton with Karen in the car. If he didn't break up with her I'm sure she will have to break up with him because he rushed home just to ask Pam out on a *date*. I was also glad that we saw a flashback to Jim's response to Pam's speech in the Beach Games Episode. Totally sweet. Can I also comment on how CUTE Jim looked with his new non homeless man haircut! For you haters (yes you know who you are) I am still sticking to my guns that JIM/JOHN is one cute mother-fer! I know this isn't the Jim and Pam show but I really can't help myself. I really loved Pam's look when Jim asked her out. The Office is very unconventional in the way they tell a story so I really hope that for once in TV history the writers don't feel like they have to break up a couple to keep people watching, after all people do watch for the comedy and not the angst (we have Grey's for that). Did I say Comedy? Bring it on bitches. Ryan is now the big boss!!!! I can't wait until the office finds out! This plot changer is going to guarantee some amazing laughs. My favorite Comedy scene was when Dwight and Angela were talking in the break room about consolidating power. Man oh man. I'm sure I will post more thoughts, videos and pictures from the season finale as the days go by because with the TV season finally wrapping up I have to find interesting ways to get my fix. Viva la JAM.
P.S
For those who haven't watched the UK version here is a clip that holds many similarities to the Jim/Pam ending for this episode. Viva The Office.

I want a side of Jam please! haha I feel 13..

I feel like a 13 year old girl who draws hearts over her I's (who am I kidding I still do that shit)! I am so excited for tonight's season finale of THE OFFICE! This season has been FULL of angst for the Jim/Pam relationship. Honestly they are my favorite TV non couple but I would rather see them as friends and pulling pranks on Dwight than crying and acting all sad and crap. Of course I wouldn't object to Jim breaking up with that tramp of a girlfriend he has going and hooking up with fancy new Beesly but alas I don't think that will happen. Alright so who on earth is going to get the job in NY? Jim,Karen or Michael? My guess is Karen but that kind of seems to obvious right? The thing that bugs me about that scenario (it's about the only thing because I want them to get rid of her) is that she doesn't seem to have much experience and everyone else vying for the job seems to outrank her. Either way it seems like in all the interviews I have watched and read about the season finale someone is getting the job in NY and JAM fans shouldn't be expecting anything because unlike last year this year the finale is all about Jan and Michael. Whatever, I'm excited either way and it should be a fun hour of TV watching. Don't forget the show starts early 8oclock and it's an hour long! Woooohooooo. Do you think Dwangela will be outed? Will Kelly end up pregnant? Will Kevin get married to that lady that doesn't really like him? Thank god this finale is a lot less stressful than the LOST one because let me tell you I will probably not be able to sleep after I watch next weeks LOST.

To keep with the 13 year old theme I have going I'm posting this insanely funny teeny bopper video someone posted at an OFFICE community. *Warning* It features the most annoying song on the radio right now and my 10 year old niece LOVES IT. Enjoy

Poor Pam!

So I set my nifty new DVR to record Conan last night because none other than Jenna Fischer (Pam) was set to appear last night. This morning I got ready to eat my breakfast and watch some Conan and to my surprise she was no where in sight which left me wondering what had happened? Well read ahead.

POP CANDY BLOG
"I've been hearing that Jenna Fischer got hurt recently, and I was wondering if you had heard anything or knew someone to ask ..."

Unfortunately, there's some truth to that rumor. Fischer's rep tells me the Office star "fractured her lower back in four places" in New York Monday after falling down some marble stairs in high heels. Her pal and co-star Angela Kinsey "has been with her the whole time" and her husband, filmmaker/actor James Gunn, has flown to be with her.

He added, "She is expected to make a full recovery and will not miss any time on The Office."

Here are some pics of the cast today at the NBC up fronts. Can I say that I think that Angela looks AMAZING in these pictures. They all look like the freaking hotness.

The whole Video is amazing but start watching from 3:24. I seriously screamed! I Can't wait for April 5th. OFFICIAL NBC PROMO(SPOILERS)

Vote for Dwight!

Hey guys! Head over to this website and vote for Dwight Schrute in the RedEye character war. He's made it to the Elite Eight! He's currently pitted against that dude from House. So please show the Shrute some love and vote him into the Final Four.

I hope you liked the Newpeat last night. I thought it was pretty cool actually. Those two episodes (Traveling Salesman and Oscars Return) were written to go together. It was neat to see them edited that way. I loved seeing Pam's art contest storyline - which wasn't in the original airing. Also, the scene where Angela offers Pam her dominant male kitten, Ash, was the scene where Angela and I broke down laughing so many times we barely got the scene finished. I think we did over 30 takes. Every time Angela changed from delighted to pissed off it killed me. It got me again when I watched it last night.

My other favorite moment...of the entire series probably... has to be Phyllis' talking head where she explains that she and Dwight both have explosive personalities. The first time we saw the episode my husband and I watched it 3 times. Last night we watched it twice and then imitated it while laughing hysterically. I never get tired of it.

So, there you go...I truly do geek out on my own show.

When Fandom Universes Collide

The degrees of separation in the TV fandom world are usually only one or two. Actually I don’t know how true that is but the more I find out about things the more that statement seems to hold true. Just like I love Jenna Fischer for keeping it real and keeping connected with the fans, I love Nathan Fillion for all the same reasons. If for some odd reason your fandom radar needs a tune up he played the lovable Captain Malcolm Reynolds on Firefly, which Joss Whedon created. He was also Kate’s husband on LOST. Damn those Fandom connections! Well here comes the third connection. Before I get anyone too excited I should put the disclaimer out: Nathan Fillion is not going to guest star on the Office (I wish he would though! Maybe to steal Karen away from Jim?) he did however blog about his experience visiting the set on his Myspace blog:
Nathon Fillion:
Unrelated, I had lunch at the Office a few weeks ago. The Annex, the kitchen, the office itself- it's all real! There is so much space between Pam's desk and Dwight's that I never knew about. I rummaged through Michael's safe. I watched as cast members updated their myspace pages and checked their emails while on lunch, but at their character's desks! Can you believe it? Now, many of you may have weirded out- sputtering stupid things excitedly while being ushered around on a first class tour. I'll have you know... I'm not above that. Thank you, Jenna, for putting up with the high pitched squels of excitement, the stupid questions, and demanding that you answer as Pam. Thank you James Gunn, for using your powerful influence to sit me down with the cast. Thank you Joss, for giving me something to talk about with everybody. Go figure, they love the crap outta you, too.
Credit
Mr. fillion was in the movie Slither that Jenna Fischer's Husband Directed. Also to add to the connection list Joss Whedon directed an episode of the office which I’m sure gave him double the street cred or is that set cred? I also love that even though Firefly has been cancelled for a while now he still goes to Conventions. Here is a youtube video of Joss Whedon talking about his work on The Office.

More on why I heart NF on his blog:
As for the updates on what's going on in Nathantainment: Wonder Con was a real lift. All you Browncoats did me a solid and showed some real support. You made me look like a big man in front of my Drive pals. Thanks. You wanna have some fun? Next time, let's play it up a bit. When you come up to ask a question, start with, "Hey Nathan, it's (Your name here) from (your town here). You set my arm when I broke it?" (Or some such other thing I helped you with- job, marriage, lost dog, flat tire, you know!) I'll come back with, "Oh, yeah! How's the arm? You back at tennis?" And you say, "Oh, it's great. My doc couldn't believe how well you set it. Anyways, my question was..." Then, we drop it. Quick and to the point is where the comedy is. Now, the joke won't work if you get extra creative or weird/gross, so keep it real, and we can all have a laugh. I did a special edition commentary with some dear friends for a movie we did, and I'm looking forward to seeing it come out again.

Now before I get too ahead of myself I have to say that I’m not going to put up a front and pretend like I am cool enough to be a “browncoat” or that I have been actively part of the Joss Whedon fandom universe. I bow my geek head in shame as I admit that I barely got around to watching The Firefly series a little over a month ago. I feel the obligation to do a good deed as a newbie. I recommend that you guys buy the firefly series (20 bucks at Target) the show is seriously great fun. If you like scifi and Joss W. you wont be disappointed. OK back to me confessing my fandom sins. I have only seen about 40 episodes of Buffy and Serenity wasn’t on the top of my list of things to watch ( I watched Serenity before firefly and I sooo wish I would have done it the other way around). Every time I have watched something that Joss Whedon has been a part of I am never left disappointed. My friend V (no I’m not delusional I don’t mean V from V for Vendetta) got really addicted to Buffy and watched all 8 seasons in like a month or something insane. Since I am equally as insane or more so I think those 8 seasons are my next assignment. Yikes.

I love her

There is nothing I love more than when celebrities take the time to connect with their fans. Fans are the reason they are famous to begin with so I think its great when celebrities recognize that. That is part of the reason I love Kevin Smith so much, he has never forgotten where he came from and is constantly doing things to connect with fans. I give you Jenna Fischer's MYSPACE BLOG:

Wow! What makeup and hair will do for a woman I tell ya.

Newpeats with a side of JAM

Hello MySpacers!

It was very cool meeting so many of you at the Paley Festival. Your enthusiasm and commitment to our show is just so damn cool. It made me wish I could blog more often. I've honestly never been so busy. Finishing this season of The Office while also prepping for my movie Walk Hard and promoting Blades of Glory has been a crazy sort of marathon. I'm not even watching American Idol this season!!! No time. I started watching but truthfully, the contestants are pretty bland. I lost interest. And with time being a precious thing I've had to limit my TV hours to the best of the best – Rome, 30 Rock, 24. *Lost!, and To Catch a Predator. But I BEG YOU! Do not comment me any plot points. I often don't see episodes until weeks later. AND, don't put fake spoilers either…those are actually spoilers…like, don't say "Aren't you sad Jack Bauer lost his arms and legs…just kidding." If this happens, my only defense is to not read my comments until I'm caught up on my TV and that is…well, that's crazy.

Shooting the show has been amazing lately. I wish I could tell you all of the great episodes we have in store. Harold Ramis came back and directed our 50th episode. Can you believe it!? We've made 50 episodes! Tonight they are airing a "Newpeat". Basically, it is a repeat but with some added scenes. For example, I think you find out what happened to Andy after he punched the wall. And there is an extra JAM bit as well.

We are back with original episodes starting April 5th. You can finally see if Roy makes good on his pledge "I'm going to kill Jim Halpert". Right now we are filming the season finale. Ken Kwapis, our original director of the series is back. If you didn't know…it will be a one hour show. We cover a lot of ground. A lot of very awesome ground.

Last week, I saw an advanced screening of Blades of Glory and it's great. The skating sequences with Will Ferrell and Jon Heder are AMAZING. I actually can't wait to see the movie again just so I can see those. I think you will be surprised to know how much of the skating was done by the actual actors. Jon learned how to do a jump, a spin and a bunch of fancy footwork both forward and backwards. People in dramas get a lot of credit for gaining weight for a role or learning some obscure skill. But the actors in this movie were crazy dedicated to skating. They trained for months. Jon broke his ankle at the beginning of training but he healed and still came back to be the best skater of the bunch. I was seriously impressed. The movie comes out Friday March 30th.

Personally I've been doing a little spring cleaning. My family is to visit next week and the week after that my in-laws hit town. Before each visit, I frantically clean the house and pretend like it always looks that way. Also, I've been collecting some great swag with you guys in mind. My closet is literally bursting. It is almost time to do another Share the Wealth. I need the space. So be on the lookout.
