Portia Is No Longer Unemployed

For some reason reading this snippet of information reminded me of the episode of Arrested Development where Lindsey gets a job offer (hair commercial) so she goes shopping and sleeps through her first day (thus, spending money she doesn't have). God, I miss Arrested Development. Anyway, Portia De Rossi is coming back to our small screens. Unfortunately it's not in anything nearly as good as AD. From Entertainment Weekly:

Portia will be one of many guest stars to appear on the new season of "Nip/Tuck". She will play the mother of an emo teen, "She's witty and confident and she's gay, which is really exciting." says Portia of her character.

I used to LOVE Nip/Tuck but after last season I couldn't bear to waste my time with that trash. Yeah, I turn on you quickly. And since when did middle aged journalists (I'm assuming) start describing teens as emo? Good for Portia though, at least now she can buy Ellen a gift and take pride in paying for it herself. I just had a vision of being a kid and buying my parents gifts that were from "me" but really wondering how they could possibly be from "me" if they paid for it. I was a strange kid. SOURCE

Don't get me wrong, I love Shia Labeouf; but let the Jew fro free!! Why does he insist on slicking his hair back like a sleazy pimp? He looks like he belongs in the Gotti family or like one of Tony Sopranos thug nephews. Either way, he is still the hottest thing to come out of Disney! Take that Britney! My friend Dee and I have both been looking forward to July 3rd because both of our boyfriends (Shia and John Krasinski) have movies opening that day. I get the feeling that her "boyfriend" is going to make more money at the box office. Just a hunch.

Everyone knows that I have a really weird obsession with seeing Disney kids succeed. I don't know what it is but I relish the fact that Shia LaBeouf beat out Halle Berry and Bruce Willis in the box office this weekend. I saw Disturbia with a friend who has had a crush on him since his Even Steven days and it was so much fun! When I got home I checked some of my favorite blogs and it seemed to be Shia day over at ONTD those biatches seem to be really obsessed with him at least for the moment. There is something wrong with me

Why Can't I just let go of the 90s? The peeps at ONTD are totally obsessed with the kids from Disney too! It's funny because last night Dee and I were talking about the Disney kids and how fast it seems like they have grown up. Dee has a total crush on Shia Labeouf from Even Stevens which I totally give her shit for because I remember him as this little annoying kid. Look at him now though....can you blame her? He isnt as young as I remember him I found out today that little Louis Stevens is 20 years old! Not bad! He is really growing into himself! He also just got accepted to Yale University! Go Shia!

I'm so glad all of these kids decided to go to school instead of turning to the seedy world of pornography! I take that back Shia is finding jobs with the quickness its the BMW kids I worry about. The return of Shawn Hunter...again

Remember Shawn? Well do. I love ( present tense) Boy Meets World. Every time there is a rerun on ABC Family I make sure to watch it. I chalk that up to nostalgia but that aside I really do like it. Do you ever wonder what happened to those guys? What is Topanga up to? Did she get super fat like I anticipated she would because you girlfriend was a little on the chunky side. What about Cory? Is he doing adult movies now because he couldn't find any acting job? I'm sure if I tried hard enough I could find this info out but I don't so I will ponder about it instead. Oh back to Shawn ( I guess I should say Rider). He is going to be in Cabin Fever 2. I remember I went to go see the first one ( I know barf right) and I practically fell out of my seat because Shawn Hunter was on the screen all grown up and shit. To my surprise there is going to be sequel.
