More Office News-Kind Of Spoilerish...

First and foremost, I love John Krasinski's old man look...so sexy. I also can't believe that we get a whole month of hour long office episodes in September! ( By The Way, I spy a very yummy bearded Jason Lee on that panel!)

MeeVee and The Office LJ community have a bunch of info about the NBC comedy press conference held today. Here is a quote from the MeeVee Article:
(John Krasinski)

"I think they've proven time and time again that if you go against the grain, you might succeed. Case in point was on 'Booze Cruise,' all that buildup to me finally being able to tell her I love her, and then just 27 seconds of silence. I mean, that was genius," Krasinski said.
Take a moment to click on the link above, It's an interesting read.

Some tidbits from a bunch of different places!

From MeeVee.com:
-Daniels is complaining about spoilers online and Krasinski says, "My bad! Needed a little extra cash! Dishing the secrets!"

-Krasinski on how a network-wide NBC "Green Week" on enviro themes will affect Dunder-Mifflin: "We're a paper company, so we're screwed."

-From Ausiello:
Office e.p. Greg Daniels believes the Jim-Pam love story "has more impact when it's not carrying the weight of the entire show." He also hints that he's not a huge fan of NBC's shmaltzy (and ridiculously misleading) Jim-Pam promos.

-From John Krasinski: Jenna Fischer has fully recovered from that nasty spill she took during upfront week.

-From TvSquad:
Are doing DVD extras a pleasure or a pain? "We over produce so much, we've got [lots of extras for DVDs]," says Daniels.

-From Ausiello
:
Just scored some post-sesion scoop from John Krasinski: He confirmed that Rashida Jones would be back for a handful of episodes at the start of the season.

From Watch with Kristin:

-Rashida Jones, aka Karen Filipelli, will be back this fall. Greg Daniels and company were able to work out a deal where she’ll show up for at least an episode or two when The Office returns this fall.

-Jenna is doing fine, though still recovering from her May injury, and will most definitely be sitting behind the reception desk at Dunder-Mifflin come September, but the producers may have to go easy on her the first few episodes. Says Daniels, “Luckily Pam sits a lot on the show.”

-We’ve seen the last of David Denman, aka Roy, for the time being, since he’s been fired and is no longer dating Pam. However, he’s not dead and, according to Greg, could return at any time.

-We will see more of Ryan this season! There will be great stuff between Michael and Ryan, now that Ryan’s the boss. But sadly for Kelly, things between her and Ryan are not going well.

-Jan really is moving into Michael’s condo, and when I asked if she’ll be wearing stretch pants, Greg Daniels was kind enough to confirm.

-The hourlong episodes (announced earlier this year) will be the first four of the season, probably because Scrubs won’t be on yet.

-The season-three DVD drops Sept. 4, and Daniels says they overproduce so much, there will be about five or six hours of extras on it.

Because I Miss The Office And Love YouTube

Last night I was on one of my many forums and a conversation came up about John Krasinski's many faces. Anyway, this prompted me to go on youtube and search for a compilation video. Pretty exciting stuff for a John K fan.

Moving on. Here are the top ten Jim and Pam moments as seen by the creator. ( I think I would rearrange some but it's still great)

Finally, the top ten Jim and Dwight moments! (I'm sorry the one where Dwight crashes his car is torture for me to watch because I laugh hard every time)

I Would Like TO I/M With John Krasinski

Glamour Magazine recently Im-ed with my (and everyone else's) TV boyfriend John Krasinski

CLAIM TO FAME
The 27-year-old actor plays everyman Jim on The Office and stars in July’s License to Wed. We IM-ed him to see what he looks for in a woman.

5:15:53 P.M.
GLAMOUR: I’m never on IM, so don’t expect funny faces.

5:16:23 P.M.
JOHN: Darn, I love emoticons!

5:16:26 P.M.
JOHN: :-)

5:16:34 P.M.
GLAMOUR: ;-)

5:17:01 P.M.
GLAMOUR: Would you ever date a normal girl like Pam? A girl in a cardigan?

5:17:45 P.M.
JOHN: Yes, please! It’s not about celebrity or not. It’s all about, do you have that *girl in a cardigan* in you. You gotta have that.

5:18:24 P.M.
GLAMOUR: Jim is every girl’s perfect guy. Do you feel like there is pressure to be him? Or are you perfect?

5:18:57 P.M.
JOHN: Oh boy, you set me up!

5:19:33 P.M.
JOHN: But I would say I have a mellow way about me and a spontaneity that is similar to Jim’s.

5:24:26 P.M.
GLAMOUR: You were named one of People magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive. Is that a *velvet* jacket in the photo?

5:25:06 P.M.
JOHN: My God! You have eagle eyes!

Best. Advice. Ever.

An open letter to the cast of License to Wed from the lovely people at Best Week Ever.

LINK
Best Week Ever Blog:

So License To Wed came out this week, opened to dismal box office numbers, and will soon be consigned to its rightful place between Failure To Launch and You, Me And Dupree in the pantheon of movies that will only be seen at 2am on HBO2 by people who are too wasted to change the channel. While I certainly haven’t seen the film (and God willing, never will), I do have some friendly advice for its three leads - Mandy Moore, Robin Williams, and John Krasinski.

Mandy Moore - I don’t really know who you are, but you weren’t terrible in Entourage and you’re easy to look at. Knock it off with the wholesome rom-coms, get naked in some artsy Sundance flick, win your Best Supporting Oscar, and go be a movie star. You know this is your destined path, so quit wasting everyone’s time and show us your boobs already (in the name of art, of course).

John Krasinski - Alright, Kras (can I call you Kras?), here’s the deal - we all love you. Your character on The Office is hilarious, charming and has single-handedly redefined what the average white American woman finds attractive in a man (finally, they’re realizing that funny is far more important that traditional attractiveness - thank you for this). So anyway, because we love you, we’re willing to forget this disaster of a movie ever happened.

We understand that you took it early in your career, before you were sure about what kind of phenomenon The Office would come. You were just glad to be offered a movie role, and that’s fine. But take it from David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and the guy who played Joey - we won’t be so forgiving in the future. You try to pull this “silly Robin Williams romantic comedy” crap again, you’ll be dead to us. Dwight Schrute is pretty funny, too, you know? And with Ryan the Intern taking over as boss, you ain’t the only game in town, pal. So bend over, take your swats from Will Ferrell’s paddle, and get initiated into the Frat Pack like a man. (Also, if you and Pam and are gonna do it, f*cking get it over with already, we’re getting sick of this Ross & Rachel bullsh*t.)

Robin Williams
- I know you won’t listen, but I’m obligated to say this anyway: for the love of God, Robin, please stop. Please. Your wacky mad-cap hijinx ceased to be funny somewhere between the time you stopped doing coke and we realized that’s just the way you are and Mrs. Doubtfire, and they ceased being even remotely tolerable around Patch Adams. The few times you’ve allowed yourself to dispense with the zaniness (Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting), we’ve generally liked you, which is why I was disappointed to learn your next two films are Old Dogs (from the director of Wild Hogs, and co-starring John Travolta - yay!) and The Krazees (yes, with a “K”) about “a psychologist whose emotions come to life as different characters”. Played as a double feature, these movies could get a terrorist talking faster than a torture chamber at Gitmo. Awesome.

The Good,The Bad,and The Ugly-License to Wed

The Good- you get to enjoy John Krasinski's hotness for 90 minutes

The Bad
- The movie isn't very funny and it has a lot of WTF moments.

The Ugly- Robin Williams is really ugly, I mean annoying.

Now that a few days have passed and I am out of my John Krasinski rose colored glasses, I can blog about what I thought of License to Wed. I'm not ashamed to say that I love cheesy romantic comedy's aka 'romcoms'. If Mandy Moore is in it and it's a chick flick count me in. I even liked Because I Said So! That is why I was so excited when I heard that my TV boyfriend was filming a romantic comedy with Mandy Moore. In this alternate universe where my guilty pleasures roam free could it possibly get any better? There always has to be a draw back though and they came in the form of Robin Williams and the script. Don't get me wrong, I laughed and had a really fun time watching the movie but it's not enough for me to urge you to see it. The sad thing for me was that I never really figured out whey Ben (JK's character) was so in love with Sadie(MM). I just couldn't buy their never dying love, I also didn't like how irrational she was towards him. I watch these movies so I can laugh and be really girlie about perfect couples that don't really exist, not to watch a grown woman nag at her boyfriend, I do that enough for both of us. I really do think Ben was a saint for sticking through as much garbage as he did. I couldn't help but be reminded of how much Jim loves Pam and how great they are together. Ben and Sadie wished they loved each other half as much as the star crossed lovers on John's TV show.
(I didn't photoshop that but I wish I did, it's hilarious)
I have never liked Robin Williams or his style of comedy so I was nervous about him playing the unconventional pastor on LTW. To his credit he wasn't as over the top as he usually is but he wasn't funny either. His character was just so creepy and cringe inducing that I thanked my lucky stars that there was two other leads in the movie.
Onto the good? Most of the laughs came from John Krasinski's perfect comedic timing and the rest of The Office crew that made cameo appearances. Seriously, I was laughing so loud that I thought that any of the other 20 people in the theater were going to throw trash at me (yeah it was pretty empty) I also have a tendency to laugh really loud anyway so my laughter might not be a fair assessment to the comedy.
The scene stealer by far was Brian Baumgardner aka Kevin from The Office. Every scene that he was in was hilarious and perfect. There was also other short cameos from Mindy Kaling and Angela Kinsey; other than making me laugh these appearances really made me want to watch new episodes of The Office. There was also some really funny moments with the hideous robot babies that I'm sure everyone has seen in a promo or two. If you asked me whether you should spend ten bucks of your hard earned money to see LTW or wait for rental I would say- It depends. If you are a full fledged Hussy and want to see John Krasinski on a movie screen in all of his lanky glory, then pay 10 bucks and enjoy yourself. If you are selective about what movies you will shell out money for, then wait for rental. That was a little harsh but true. I don't think this will tarnish John's career or reputation at all. If anything this movie shows how funny he can be with the material that he is given. I also think it helps that his next movie coming out stars George Clooney and not Tom Green or any other has- been comedian. Let's face it no one stood a chance against the monster that is Transformers.

Here is a picture of John Krasinski and Angela Kinsey being cute and friendly at the License to Wed premiere in Los Angeles.

One of the best parts of the movie, the blooper reel ( a shortened version anyway)

Warning: A huge crush is an after effect of this video

I have to put a huge disclaimer before I post the following video. I'm warning you men, women, children, and the elderly will all fall in love with John Kraskinski after this interview. Hurry up and watch it before the nasty NBC people take it off of YouTube.

Um? Shall we recap! Best line of the night "oh, you bleed... that's weird" a very honorable mention " I'm sure he watches a lot of office though, he wants to turn over..." and the simultaneous "but he can't"! Sweet baby Jesus was that good! Like any great obsessed fan I have heard some of those stories before but let me tell you, they never get old. I really liked the George Clooney story and the great imitation of Sarah's crazy friend. You can't go wrong with Conan but if you add a little Krasinski things just get out of control in a way that makes me feel like a crazy person. Did you fall in love? Do you have a crush now? Are you googling Krasinski and looking at You Tube interviews now? I thought so. Proceed with caution though ladies and gents, it can get a little consuming.

The temp got the job and I got my Jam fix

I'm going to start off this entry with the scene from last nights OFFICE finale that I along with many other people had been waiting for.
The Jim/Pam storyline came full circle and I couldn't be happier. I was convinced that nothing was going to happen on that front and thank god I was wrong. It's very late and I should be in bed but I think I'm going to blog and watch CSI instead. So do you guys think that Jim left Karen stranded in NY? The evil girl in me really hopes so but I doubt it maybe he called her on the phone and was like "we are dunzo I'm asking Pam out"! Probably not but what we do know is that he didn't drive back to Scranton with Karen in the car. If he didn't break up with her I'm sure she will have to break up with him because he rushed home just to ask Pam out on a *date*. I was also glad that we saw a flashback to Jim's response to Pam's speech in the Beach Games Episode. Totally sweet. Can I also comment on how CUTE Jim looked with his new non homeless man haircut! For you haters (yes you know who you are) I am still sticking to my guns that JIM/JOHN is one cute mother-fer! I know this isn't the Jim and Pam show but I really can't help myself. I really loved Pam's look when Jim asked her out. The Office is very unconventional in the way they tell a story so I really hope that for once in TV history the writers don't feel like they have to break up a couple to keep people watching, after all people do watch for the comedy and not the angst (we have Grey's for that). Did I say Comedy? Bring it on bitches. Ryan is now the big boss!!!! I can't wait until the office finds out! This plot changer is going to guarantee some amazing laughs. My favorite Comedy scene was when Dwight and Angela were talking in the break room about consolidating power. Man oh man. I'm sure I will post more thoughts, videos and pictures from the season finale as the days go by because with the TV season finally wrapping up I have to find interesting ways to get my fix. Viva la JAM.
P.S
For those who haven't watched the UK version here is a clip that holds many similarities to the Jim/Pam ending for this episode. Viva The Office.

I want a side of Jam please! haha I feel 13..

I feel like a 13 year old girl who draws hearts over her I's (who am I kidding I still do that shit)! I am so excited for tonight's season finale of THE OFFICE! This season has been FULL of angst for the Jim/Pam relationship. Honestly they are my favorite TV non couple but I would rather see them as friends and pulling pranks on Dwight than crying and acting all sad and crap. Of course I wouldn't object to Jim breaking up with that tramp of a girlfriend he has going and hooking up with fancy new Beesly but alas I don't think that will happen. Alright so who on earth is going to get the job in NY? Jim,Karen or Michael? My guess is Karen but that kind of seems to obvious right? The thing that bugs me about that scenario (it's about the only thing because I want them to get rid of her) is that she doesn't seem to have much experience and everyone else vying for the job seems to outrank her. Either way it seems like in all the interviews I have watched and read about the season finale someone is getting the job in NY and JAM fans shouldn't be expecting anything because unlike last year this year the finale is all about Jan and Michael. Whatever, I'm excited either way and it should be a fun hour of TV watching. Don't forget the show starts early 8oclock and it's an hour long! Woooohooooo. Do you think Dwangela will be outed? Will Kelly end up pregnant? Will Kevin get married to that lady that doesn't really like him? Thank god this finale is a lot less stressful than the LOST one because let me tell you I will probably not be able to sleep after I watch next weeks LOST.

To keep with the 13 year old theme I have going I'm posting this insanely funny teeny bopper video someone posted at an OFFICE community. *Warning* It features the most annoying song on the radio right now and my 10 year old niece LOVES IT. Enjoy

John Krasinski is the voice of Mac prodicts

YES I will admit it- I was very excited to hear that John Krasinski is the voice talent for the new Apple commercials but I was more excited to see the product that he was advertising! I can't begin tell you guys how bad I want this new little gadget! I have a crap load of videos on my IPOD that I would love to be able to watch on my TV or on my friends TVs but I am subjected to forever be a slave to my little black IPOD. It's so annoying having access to a TV but not being able to view the video on anything other than a three inch screen. Wouldn't it have been great if instead of showing Jack Black they would have shown The Office?

*Swoon* What a Dream Boat

VIA:EONLINE ReelGirl

As promised, here's a little bit more about John Krasinski. Yeah sure, The Office is fab And Leatherheads should be fun. But didja know that John recently pulled a Zach Braff?
As if sitcom life isn't demanding enough, John found the time to write and direct an adaptation of David Foster Wallace's very strange book of short stories Brief Interviews with Hideous Men?
The cast features some of my favorite actors whom we don't see as much I'd like: Josh Charles, whom I've crushed on in a Tiger Beat way ever since Dead Poets Society, and Ben Shenkman, who can sparkle in either a run-of-the-mill John Cusack romantic comedy or Angels in America. Anyway, if this movie is as good as I think it's gonna be, great things could happen for John.

So, you're writing and directing Brief Interviews with Hideous Men. How did that all come about?
I actually did a staged reading of it at Brown [University]. I was acting in all these funny little things but never really believed in anything until I did a staged reading of this. It sort of changed everything. I wrote a script, and it was incredible, the epitome of a passion project.

And this cast?
I'm so touched that anybody chose to participate.

Who was the best?
Everybody was great. Tim Hutton was incredible. Chris Meloni was phenomenal—watching these guys work, you realize how hard it is to be a director because it's so hard to do anything. So, I just sat by and watched these guys work.

Where do you stand now?
I'll be editing in May. I do The Office on the week and the Clooney movie on the weekend. But I keep saying, "One of these days I'll make it. One of these days I'll do a good thing."

You gonna have a big party when you're done with those projects?
I'll have a big party by editing my movie!
-------------------------------------------
I don't like the comparison to Zach Braff. I loved Garden State but I lost so much trust for ZB after he worked on the movie The Last Kiss(thank god he didn't direct that piece of shiat!). Anyway, I am so reading this book before the movie comes out. Yes I'm a geek I know. Hopefully reading the book wont ruin the movie...who cares anyway right?

My TV Boyfriend....UNTS

By now if you have been reading you know that I have a variety of TV boyfriends. I took a silly quiz on Ivillage and I was so scared I was going to get McDreamy as my definitive TV BF! I picked "Doctor" as my boyfriends profession because thats the hottest right ? Which totally should have set me up for doom, thank goodness my other answers outweighed that one.

your TV boyfriend is:

Jim Halpert (John Krasinski)
Sweet, sweet Jim. As cute as he is charming and sensitive, and able to make you feel good and have a big laugh any time you need it. Jim's worldview may seem a bit limited -- after all, it's largely a ragin' case of apathy that keeps him locked in to his "could do it with one hand tied behind his back" job at Dunder Mifflin -- but that's also part of his appeal; the love of one good woman is all this tall, cool drink of water needs to make him happy. Nice choice in TV boyfriends!
TAKE QUIZ

For those of you that don't know what UNTS means think of the best music you have ever heard. Now close your eyes (not while reading this post obviously) you have your eyes closed and there is a beat that's so powerful its running through your veins..all you hear is the unts, unts, unts of the beat. The moment is perfect, you could either start dancing in excitement or simply enjoy the moment but either way life is good. The word is already catching on trust me.
