Poor Pam!

So I set my nifty new DVR to record Conan last night because none other than Jenna Fischer (Pam) was set to appear last night. This morning I got ready to eat my breakfast and watch some Conan and to my surprise she was no where in sight which left me wondering what had happened? Well read ahead.

POP CANDY BLOG
"I've been hearing that Jenna Fischer got hurt recently, and I was wondering if you had heard anything or knew someone to ask ..."

Unfortunately, there's some truth to that rumor. Fischer's rep tells me the Office star "fractured her lower back in four places" in New York Monday after falling down some marble stairs in high heels. Her pal and co-star Angela Kinsey "has been with her the whole time" and her husband, filmmaker/actor James Gunn, has flown to be with her.

He added, "She is expected to make a full recovery and will not miss any time on The Office."

It looks like we aren't going to get an answer about Veronica's fate this week. Contractually they have until June 15th.Boo for the CW!!!!
Anyway, there is a new show called Gossip Girl that I'm totally going to watch because I'm a cheese ball like that and Kristin Bell is the narrator!

Contractually, the net has until June 15 to reach a verdict, and the extra time would allow Rob Thomas to produce an actual script for Veronica in the FBI. That's one scenario. The other scenario is that the show is dead. One thing is certain: VM will not be on the schedule presented to advertisers on Thursday morning.)

Stop playing games with my heart

Will they? Wont they? Tell me so I can A)move on B)Wallow in my misery until I find out.

Maybe this WONT be the end for Battlestar.
May 14, 2007 - Last week, Edward James Olmos was quoted as saying the coming fourth season of Battlestar Galactica was definitely the last one. Now one of Battlestar's executive producers, David Eick, is saying that might not necessarily be the case.

On the SCI FI Channel's website, scifi.com, Eick is quoted as saying, "For those of you who have been paying attention over the years, this is not the first time Eddie has made an announcement about the possibility of the show's end. I promise you that when [executive producer] Ron [Moore] and I make a decision about Galactica's future, we'll let you know."

Besides Olmos's more firm comments, Battlestar actress Katee Sackhoff also said the acclaimed show "might not go anymore" in an interview with iesb.com. And in an interview IGN conducted with Jamie Bamber earlier this year, he also speculated season 4 would likely be the last. At this point it seems that there is a good chance season 4 will be the end for the series, but it's not a certainty, and Eick doesn't want to make an official announcement until they are absolutely sure.

ahhhhhh!!! Such great news!

With all the bad news coming out about some of my favorite TV shows it's so good to have great news. The Office is getting a 30 episode season next fall with 5 one hour long episodes sprinkled in somewhere!! I'm so excited! They are also moving to the 9pm time slot. Here are some pics of the cast today at the NBC up fronts. Can I say that I think that Angela looks AMAZING in these pictures. They all look like the freaking hotness.

Win/lose

Don't you hate when someone asks you which news you want to hear first the good or the bad? Of course you want to hear the bad because now that you have been informed that there is bad news how can you enjoy the good? Anyway I have good news and bad news! Which one do you want to hear first? Alright the bad. Friday Night Lights has officially been moved to (drum roll please) Friday night. The good news, it's not canceled. Why is it bad news that a show that ironically enough has Friday in it's name is moving to that night? It's the place where shows get moved to die. Who actually watches TV on Friday nights? Even I a self proclaimed TV addict usually go to a movie and dinner (or something date like) with my boyfriend. Thank god for DVRs but the question is do DVRs count with ratings? I'm glad that I get to experience more FNL but will it get the boot midway through the second season if the ratings drop? Anyway if you haven't watched Friday Night Lights you need to go on NBC.com and watch the entire season for FREE!!! I watched it after the season was over in one long marathon (OK it took like 2 days) but it was well worth it. Trust me.
PS. Kyle Chandler is a sexy mofo even in this picture above.

Win/Win

After much speculation that LOST would set an end date official news finally came through. Lost will end after three shortened seasons. Instead of the regular 22 episode long seasons they will be shortend to 16 episodes. The show is set to end in the 2009-2010 season.Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

GMMR
Also on board for the duration are Executive Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. It was Lindelof and Cuse who actually asked the network for an end date for the series during the Winter TCAs earlier this year. Looks like they got what they wanted, but with a little compromise with the guys paying the bills over at ABC.
ABC Entertainment President, Steve McPherson, think this is a smart move for both the show and the network: “In considering the powerful storytelling of ‘Lost,’ we felt this was the only way to give it a proper creative conclusion’.

“I always said that we would allow the series to grow and give viewers the most compelling hour possible,” he added. “And, due to the unique nature of the series, we knew it would require an end date to keep the integrity and strength of the show consistent throughout, and to give the audience the payoff they deserve. ” McPherson added.

He's Hairy Enough

They should have had him play the wolf. He can obviously grow enough hair for the part:)

New TV Superman Tom Welling has given the Teen Wolf film franchise a boost after reportedly signing on for a new movie. In the new Teen Wolf, a remake of Michael J. Fox's 1985 movie, a female will play the fun-loving werewolf of the title.
Website DarkHorizons.com reports that Smallville star Welling will be part of the supporting cast of the new film.

To make up for the picture above I give you a less hairy more groomed version of TW.
